Commissioning bespoke furniture is as individual as the designs. There is no fixed process, as I prefer to tailor the approach to the needs of each customer. Please contact me for an initial discussion. As a guide, the typical commission will include the following steps. 1. I visit the customer with my portfolio or the customer visits my workshop to see a small selection of furniture. 2. A working brief is developed to establish the use, size, materials, time and price. 3. Sketches are made to discuss with the customer. I often then develop one of he sketches with drawings and models. 4. The customer approves the final designs and a final price is agreed. 5. Furniture is manufactured and delivered. |
